Winter weather presents unique challenges for Michigan drivers, and it's already starting to arrive. To make sure your Jaguar can handle the elements, we recommend a few key winter services. Here is what you need to do.

Check Your Battery: Car batteries can suffer when the weather turns cold. Sub-freezing temperatures can cause excess corrosion and diminished performance. If your battery is past its prime, you may end up stranded in the cold. That's why it's important to have your battery checked before we reach the peak of winter. If your battery is old or losing its effectiveness, it's smart to install a new one.

Inspect/Install Tires: Bald tires are a potential recipe for disaster in winter weather. Without grippy tread, your car can turn into an ice skate. Before temperatures drop too far, we recommend having your tires professionally inspected to make sure they're ready for the road. Additionally, If your car has summer sport tires, you may want to switch to a winter set.

Top Off Antifreeze: Antifreeze helps to keep your engine components from freezing solid during winter. If antifreeze levels are low, you may run into problems. At your next service visit, have your technician check antifreeze levels and top it off if needed.

Get New Wiper Blades: This is an easy one, but it can have a dramatic effect on visibility throughout the winter. Old, worn out wiper blades can turn your windshield into a streaky mess during a snow storm, while fresh blades can keep a windshield crisp and clean.
