Get yourself out of a bad winter situation with sand, salt, and kitty litter

We here at Jaguar Troy want to ask you if you have ever had the unsavory experience of having your vehicle stuck in the snow or on the ice in the winter in Michigan. If you have, then you know how hard it can be to have anyone come to your aid. Motorists do not want to risk themselves becoming stuck when they are trying to help you. This is why it is a good idea to have some kitty litter, sand or salt on hand so that you can get yourself out of this situation without having to rely on anyone else.

Salt can be used to melt the ice or snow into water, which will soak into the soil and leave a rough spot to drive on. Sand and kitty litter can be used to create rough spots directly on the ice or snow, but if it is in wet conditions, then kitty litter will soak in the water and clump up, losing effectiveness.
